Auto Bild gives Falken Top-Ten rating in brand survey

In a recent brand survey conducted by Auto Bild in March 2019, Falken secured eighth place in the ‘Sport Tyres’ and ‘Price-to-performance ratio’ categories. Around 70,000 readers of Auto Bild magazine were asked to rate suppliers on their brand image and 14.74% (10,318 respondents approx.) associate Falken with a sporty image.
This comes as no surprise with the Falken Motorsport successfully competing in the continuously demanding Nürburgring over the last 20 years, claiming many podium-finishes and top-ten places recently, including 3rd place at one of the most challenging races in the world, the Nürburgring 24 hours, in 2015. Not forgetting that last year, 2018, was Falken Motorsport’s most successful season, claiming two overall victories and seven podium finishes in the VLN Endurance Championship.
The races also provide the technical team the opportunity to carry out tyre tests with the results used for tyre development. The survey also revealed that 18.74% (approx. 13,118 Auto Bild readers) believe that quality doesn’t necessarily have to be expensive, with the Falken brand associated with a positive price-to-performance ratio. This has been further-confirmed in independent tests by Gesellschaft für Technische Überwachung and Auto Club Europa.
The Falken AZENIS FK510 was put through its paces as part of the 2018 summer tyre tests. This tyre came out the test winner, delivering a very good price-to-performance ratio and scored positively for high-quality and a fair price.
