General Tire ‘Anywhere is Possible’

On 17th April 2018, General Tire made the strapline of “Anywhere is Possible” a reality by linking up with big-wave surfer, Andrew Cotton to explain his incredible story “Wavemaker”. Wavemaker is a video campaign that documents Andrew’s return to surfing after he wiped-out on a huge wave at Nazaré, Portugal in November 2017. The incident left him with a broken back and the story made front page news in the papers and on television.
With Andrew’s remarkable story, General Tire is bringing its spirit of adventure to UK consumers in a video that follows the journey from his rehabilitation, through to Cotton making his first steps back in the surf at his home in Devon.
Andrew visited Micheldever Tyres & Auto – Team Protyre back in February to get his new set of General Tire tyres in preparation for the campaign.
