October is Tyre Safety Month, something all of us at Protyre are proud to support. Organised by the highly-respected tyre safety charity, TyreSafe, the month-long campaign takes place in October with the aim to raise awareness amongst the UK’s millions of motorists around the importance of tyre safety, the importance of fitting good tyres, the need to regularly check them and the potential hazards of not doing so.

This year, Tyre Safety Month focuses on encouraging get into the habit of regularly checking their tyres. The campaign, Look Who’s Talking, offers useful tips and advice on the benefits of checking your tyres each month, including; the importance of spotting tyre damage as early as possible, ensuring tyres have the correct pressures and how good tread depth is vital for achieving the best grip and shorter stopping distances.
