Last night, along with hundreds of other guests from the industry, Protyre attended the National Tyre Distributors Association (NTDA) as it held its 90th annual dinner and 6th industry awards ceremony at the ICC in Birmingham. The ICC is a 2-minute walk away from where the White Horse Hotel once stood, the location of the 1st ever NTDA dinner in 1930.
 
Protyre are delighted to have won two awards, Industry Marketing Campaign of the Year and REACT Roadside Technician of the Year as well as having a finalist in the category of National Apprentice Tyre Technician of the Year.
 
The win for Industry Marketing Campaign of the Year was awarded for our 2018 campaign in support of Tyresafe. Protyre has long been a supporter of Tyresafe and an advocate of the importance of raising awareness of tyre safety.

REACT Roadside Technician of the Year is awarded to the unsung heroes of the tyre industry. Those technicians who can be called out at any time of the day or night, in all weather, to work on some of the largest vehicles and often just inches away from speeding traffic.

Protyre are delighted that one of our technicians, Adrian Sainsbury, won the 2019 award. Adrian is a dedicated and professional member of team Protyre and we couldn’t be happier that he has been recognised for doing the job that he loves.

Protyre also had one of our apprentices, Joseph Beaver, as a finalist in the category of National Apprentice Tyre Technician of the Year. Congratulations Joseph!
