Falken Motorsport recruit Television Presenter Richard Hammond for tyre testing

The Falken Tyres Motorsport racing team were at Portimão Circuit, Portugal, attempting to create the best tyre compound for their Porsche 911 GTR 3 race car.
To achieve the perfect tyre compound requires extensive testing, running countless laps on the tyres and making an astronomical amount of scientific calculations and adjustments to find the solution that makes the tyre perform at its best, for as long as possible.
Following their record-breaking season last year with two victories and a further five podium positions, the Falken Motorsport racing team have set themselves a 2019 target of winning the Nurburgring 24 Hours race.
The Falken Motorsport Team teamed up with DriveTribe and asked Television Presenter and car enthusiast, Richard Hammond, whether he fancied a go at being a tyre tester for them. Find out how he got on below:
