Four motor racing events + 42 fitters + 2,000 tyres = one amazing weekend!

Lights out and it’s go, go, go!!
Well it will be this weekend when our Motorsport team heads off to be the official tyre fitting partner at FOUR major motorsport events around the UK and in Europe.
Having just returned from last weekend’s FIA Formula E race in the Golden State of California, the Motorsport team division is all set for what will be its busiest ever weekend!
We will have 42 fitters working and by the end of the weekend, they will have fitted well over 2,000 tyres.
So here’s where the Motorsport team will be:
British GT Championship at Brands Hatch
The British GT Championship and BRDC British F3 Championship co-headline at Brands Hatch on the legendary Grand Prix circuit. This is a new championship for Protyre Motorsport and the biggest single race we support with 44 GT cars on the grid. Also on this race card will be the first races of the new Protyre Ginetta GT5 Championship season.
World Endurance Championship at Silverstone
We are supporting Michelin at this global event, which will see six hours of racing and non-stop action. In addition to the World Endurance Championship, we’ll also be supporting the Porsche Carrera Cup, which will run as a support race.
Ginetta GT4 at Donington Park
The Ginetta GT4 SuperCup is Ginetta's flagship championship. Also taking place at Donington Park will be the Ginetta Junior Championship, the UK's longest running junior series.
Dutch Supercar Challenge in Belgium
This will be our second year supporting the Dutch Supercar Challenge powered by Pirelli with 40 cars expected on the start grid. Incredible! (or ‘ongelooflijk’ as the Dutch say).
It’s going to be hard work, but a lot of fun. We’re really proud of our Motorsport team, and don’t forget, these guys also work in your local Protyre centre.
