Carnival prize money donated to Tavistock Specials!

Congratulations to our Tavistock centre, which won £100 for being one of the runners up in the Tavistock Carnival for the design of its float.
The centre will donate the money to the Tavistock Specials FC, an organisation it has supported since 2005. The Tavistock Specials was set up to be a football team made up of both able-bodied players and players with disabilities.
Matthew Rowland, area manager for the South West, said: “We may not have won the top prize for having the best float, but it still looked pretty impressive. So well done to everyone for working so hard to create it.
“We had a great time at the carnival, the atmosphere was fantastic and we’re really happy that we can make this donation to the Tavistock Specials.”
