Fish ‘n’ Chips & Skittles

Southam Tyres - Team Protyre have supported local charity RNLI Leamington Spa (& Southam) in their endeavour to raise funds for their vital cause via their annual Fish ‘n’ Chips and Skittles (the game not the sweets!) evening event.

The RNLI relies on volunteer lifeboat crews providing a 24-hour rescue service across the UK and Ireland, seasonal lifeguards that look after people on busy beaches and Flood Rescue Teams helping those affected by flooding.

RNLI crews and lifeguards may have saved over 142,200 lives since 1824, but they also influence, supervise and educate people in the community on sea and boating safety. International teams work with like-minded organisations to help tackle drowning in communities at risk all around the world.

Protyre donated a Free MOT and £50 oil top up which was a very popular choice among the raffle prizes. The event held at Cubbington Village Hall, attracted 47 people who all had a thoroughly entertaining time and raised £415.56.

Congratulations to Paul Cooke from Coventry who won on the night! (pictured above)

Tina Gilbert on the committee for the RNLI Leamington Spa (& Southam) told us:
“[The] Leamington Spa (& Southam) RNLI Fundraising Branch hold their annual Fish and Skittles night to raise funds and provide a vital contribution to the lifesaving work of the RNLI. Our thanks go to Protyre and Clarissa who organised the prize voucher.”
