Charity Superheros in Southampton

This month celebrates SUPERHERO’S in all forms across businesses, services and in the home. Cash for Kids launched its annual charity event in aid of this to raise money for local causes up and down the country.
In Southampton, Wave 105.2 FM we’re raising money in support of Southampton Hospital Children’s Emergency & Trauma Department.
Our two Southampton based Protyre centres, Tyre and Auto - Team Protyre and Tyreland - Team Protyre, both joined the event by raising money throughout the week from their receptions with donation buckets and by informing the general public at the centre of the charity and what it is doing for children having the face emergency medical assistance at the Southampton Hospital.
Kids going through trauma need lots of help and support. The South’s major trauma centre delivers it, but in an environment in dire need of updating. Together, the money raised by centres and Cash for Kids will help with the refurbishment and to buy two interactive play screens. These screens create worlds beyond the turmoil of their hospital experience, letting them their very own superheroes giving them the resilience for whatever lies ahead.
