Pirelli Performance Centres are part of a hand-selected network of UK tyre dealers that have passed a rigorous process focused on both customer service and technical expertise. When accepted into the network, centres have access to training courses, latest industry technology, extensive product knowledge and best practice as developed alongside leading manufacturers.
 
From the inception of the PPC concept Protyre have played a central role, with Micheldever Tyre And Auto Services Winchester, Cambridge Performance Tyres and Stortford Performance Tyres as three of the founding centres in 1998. As the network has grown, so too has the number of Protyre depots operating as Pirelli Performance Centres and offering the full, reliable services membership entails. As of 2019 there are 117 tyre dealerships across the country sporting the PPC title, of which 38 are Protyre sites.

Once part of the programme, each member must take part in an audit undertaken twice a year by Pirelli’s expert auditing team based at the firm’s flagship site in Burton-on-Trent. Comprising of a thorough 130-point check, the audit’s requirements are continually progressing at the cutting-edge of the industry to assure the very highest fitting and service standards.
 
The result is complete peace of mind for our customers when fitting tyres all the way from Pirelli’s Collezione range, for beloved classic cars, to high-performance tyres for the very latest supercars and hypercars. This backing from the manufacturer affords each Pirelli Performance Centre the tools and the training to comprehensively handle the prestige market alongside a wide product knowledge and expertise with regards to more everyday fitting.
 
Supporting the audit process is a series of training days held at the network’s flagship centre in Burton-on-Trent. The site is the only tyre dealership owned directly by Pirelli themselves, and serves the wider network with training facilities in the shape of its very own ‘Tyre Campus.’
