Firefighting Tyre Safety

Each year the Firefighters Charity host two periods of events held nationally where local stations will wash cars to raise money for the charity with support from the local community.
The firefighters Charity supports existing and retired firefighters that have served over 5years. They also contribute towards rehabilitation due to injuries on duty, support the families through injuries and loss and particularly focus on wellbeing such as mental health. They also host various programmes such as child care and nursing.
Local Warrington centre Jeffreys HPT - Team Protyre attended the Cheshire Fire Service event in partnership with the Highways Agency at Ellesmere Port last week. Not only could the donating visitors get a car wash, but were also offered a free tyre safety check.
Together the team raised £318!
