Protyre are winners at the WhoCanFixMyCar Garage Awards 2021
By Julia Freeman
For the fifth year running, WhoCanFixMyCar.com’s Garage Awards are back, looking to acknowledge and celebrate the hard work and commitment of Britain’s best garages.
This year there were over 100 nominees across 24 categories, including Best Mobile Mechanic, Clutch Specialist, and Best Regional Group. The winners for the 2021 Garage Awards were announced online on Wednesday morning (24th February), and we are proud to announce that Protyre has been selected as the winner in the Best National Group category!
The nominees, and subsequent winners, were judged based on the number of jobs won on the WhoCanFixMyCar.com platform over the last year, as well as the quality of customer feedback received and the garage’s dedication to delivering an outstanding service.
Protyre’s Retail Director, Simon Hiorns, expressed his joy upon hearing the news and explained how proud he is of each member of the Protyre team:
“We are thrilled with this award. We work hard to deliver our customers the best customer experience and to deliver great value. So, to do so well against the judging criteria (number of jobs won and the quality of customer feedback), shows that our teams are succeeding in delivering high standards of service at a great price. I am delighted for the team and thank them for their hard work in what has been a testing year.”
In a video on the company’s blog, Al Preston, Co-Founder of WhoCanFixMyCar.com, announced that, due to the course the last 12 months has taken things down, this year will be a “digital event” and that the annual awards ceremony will not be going ahead as normal.
Speaking about the decision, Preston said, “It’s not going to be the same as having the big dinner that we’ve had over the last few years, but hopefully next year we’ll be able to get together – in fact, if not sooner – and see some of the winners.”
In lieu of the celebrations, WhoCanFixMyCar are going to cover the costs of the event and give all profits to the charity Ben, a charity dedicated to supporting the people of the automotive industry by providing support for life for them and their family dependents.
A massive congratulations to all of the winners and nominees, and the very best of luck for the year ahead.
