Talent in Tavistock

Sep

For 13 years Tavistock Tyres – Team Protyre has supported local football club Tavistock Specials. The club supports disabled men, women and children of all ages getting into football and being able to play as part of a team.

Club founder Allen Lewis started up the club for his son Paul who is severely autistic, however they have recently discovered that he has a talent in animated voice acting.

Paul, with his dad, was invited by Daniel Willers the director of Yellow Mouse Studio’s Ltd to visit their studio in Exeter. The professional team gave Paul the opportunity to see how professional voice actors work and he immediately responded and started to do voices with the professionals.

Paul’s story has been well followed and documented over the past 14 years where his family adopted the Son-Rise Program of America Therapy http://www.action4autism.co.uk/

Tavistock tyres has supported Paul and his family for so long that when they were told that Paul’s inspiration to go into animation might make the local news, we were asked to supply a shirt to display their appreciation of our support.

Allen told us:
“We need to buy some IT equipment and [a] webcam so we can create films to inspire people with autism and their families. We would all like to give him the chance to be even more creative”

To help Paul bring his dreams of being a voice actor to life, you can donate to his cause here: https://www.facebook.com/donate/891958114343567/892246907648021/
