Supporting Ipswich Scouts

Oct

Protyre is supporting the Ipswich 24th Scout Group in their annual Christmas fundraising event to support their hall.

The club will be holding a raffle where Autofit – Team Protyre have donated a free MOT voucher.

Funds raised will go towards general running costs for the hut and also allows the group to keep costs down for the children and fund activities for the year.

The children themselves produce games and/or items to sell and run their stalls. There are local crafters with stalls plus refreshments (bacon and egg sarnies, drinks and cakes), traditional kids games and of course Father Christmas visiting with a professional photographer.

Scouting is one of the world’s largest youth movements and has over 27 million members all over the world.
The 24th Ipswich Scout Group founded on 12th September 1930 and provides life skills and activities to young people in Ipswich. The current hall site has been in use since 1989 and was designed as fit to purpose allowing everyone to enjoy the building.

The group recruit scouts from age 6 years you can join by visiting their website http://www.24thipswichscouts.org.uk/
