As part of this new relationship, Hawleys Tyres will also be offering exclusive discounts to the club’s players and season ticket holders.

Hawleys Tyres, which is part of the Protyre network, the UK’s largest independent chain of fast fit and mechanical centres, has centres located throughout Sheffield in Hunters Bar, City Centre, Holme Lane, Mosborough; and Chapeltown.

Neil Jones, who is the local area manager for Protyre, said: “I’m really excited about this new partnership. Hawleys is an established local business, and as such we’re always keen to partner with groups and organsations that have a strong community focus.

“The Sheffield Steeldogs are a great local club with a strong family following. On top of that, a number of the guys that work at our centres are big fans and regularly go to home and away games, so supporting the team was a natural fit for us.”

The jersey design looks great and we can’t wait till all our signings are in place so that the jerseys can be ordered. I know the players will wear them with pride.”
