About BMW

BMW is one of the world's best-known brands and Forbes named it as the world's most reputable company in 2012. It is widely renowned for its manufacturing quality and the performance of its products. In 2015, the company sold a massive 1,905,234 BMWs, 338,466 Minis, 3,785 Rolls Royces, and 136,963 motorcycles.

BMWs first successful motorcycle was the 1923 R32; during world war II, it produced the BMW R75 with an attached sidecar. The K Series arrived in 1982 and the F series and G series followed shortly after.

Towards the end of the 1980s, the company launched anti-lock brakes on its production bikes and the generation of brakes used from 2006 paved the way for the arrival of anti-skid technology or electronic stability control for 2007 models. BMW has also been a suspension design innovator. It started using telescopic front suspension a long time before most manufacturers and then changed to the Earles fork system. The company also became a leader in the use of Telever design at the start of the 1990s.
